Hello, February

The campus was greeted this morning with one of those quintessential steel-gray February New Haven skies. That’s why they invented Feb Club. Speaking of which, alums can celebrate Feb Club around the world via Feb Club Emeritus events all this month. Tonight there’s a party in Kiev, where we’re guessing the weather will make old Elis feel at home.

    Actually, according to the view from Zhylianska Street, it's as weirdly un-wintry there as in New Haven, with highs in the 50s and lows in the 40s. A taste of home, to be sure, but not an expected taste for early February -- clearly, Punxsutawney Phil was on to something.
