It might as well be springRed Sox pitchers and catchers report to spring training today, an annual milestone that always makes us remember the late Yale president, baseball commissioner, and Sox fan A. Bartlett Giamatti ’60, ’64PhD. The memorial bench dedicated to Giamatti on the Old Campus gives no hints of the approaching baseball season, but things presumably look different at the Red Sox camp in Fort Myers, Florida.
